I find heirloom gardening to be addictive for so many reasons. I’ve only just begun my heirloom gardening adventures in full force so I admit that I am a newbie with lots to learn, but the nostalgia that the stories from the seeds tell is probably my most favorite part. My happy memories of spending time at the country homesteads of my grandparents and great-grandparents are moments that I want to create for myself, my family and you and their gardens were always front and center. Irises, peonies, lilac trees, roses, Lily of the Valley and sweet peas, oh my!
It’s rare that I am an “all or nothing” gal, so my garden plans focus on heirloom and open-pollinated garden goodies, but there is always room for something that doesn’t fit that mold if it catches my eye.
Come along and get your hands dirty with me!
“It’ll be fun”, she says.
Life’s busy…make moments that matter.
